01 June 2022, Dubai, United Arab Emirates: 1000 Miglia Srl – the Italian company that organises the 1000 Miglia, also known as “The Most Beautiful Race in the World” – and Octanium Experiences LLC are proud to announce the first-ever 1000 Miglia Experience UAE will take place from the 4th to the 8th of December, 2022.
Following the extremely successful Prologue warm-up event held on February 18th-20th drawing 43 participants and 3000 visitors to the Prologue Night, the 1000 Miglia Experience UAE is the next evolution of classic motorsport in this great nation.
On December 5th 2022, one hundred teams will leave the Dubai starting line on an epic journey covering all seven Emirates in a challenging 1,600km road course – a feat that has never been attempted before by a classic car event in the UAE.
From Dubai the rally heads to the sinewy coastline of Fujairah, then changes course inland to the rocky expanse of Ras Al Khaimah where the vintage automobiles will put their mechanical ability to the ultimate test: the soaring Jebel Jais road, which even modern cars struggle to overcome.
After a relaxing overnight stay at the exclusive Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah, the Rally continues down the western UAE shores via the exotic mangroves of Umm Al Quwain, the seaside delights of Ajman, then curves inward to the towering red sand dunes and majestic ancient archaeological sites of Sharjah, before returning to Dubai for a second evening and special challenges, yet to be revealed. Finally, the rally departs on the 8th of December to Abu Dhabi for a grand finale at the Emirates Palace hotel.
As with the Prologue, Octanium Experiences LLC will host a special kick-off day on the 4th of December showcasing the participant vehicles and the very best of the UAE car culture, supported by the country’s top influential car clubs and communities. In addition, the launch day includes practical training for the competitors and technical scrutineering of the participating vehicles.
The official Partners of the 1000 Miglia Experience UAE are Chopard as Official Timekeeper, ADNOC Distribution as Official Fuel and Lubricant Supplier, and Carrera as Official Eyewear Partner. The UAE Ministry of Interior is the main Government Partner, with supporting partners Emirates Motorsport Organization, the UAE Government Media Office and the Tourism Authorities of each individual Emirate.
